  Checking the supplied item

  AC adaptor AC-UB10C/UB10D (1)

  Charging the battery pack

Set the power switch to OFF.
Open the cover by sliding the lever.
Insert the battery pack completely, using the tip of the battery
to press the lock lever (A).
Close the cover.
Connect the camera to the AC Adaptor (supplied) using the
micro USB cable (B) (supplied). Connect the AC Adaptor to the
wall outlet (wall socket) (C).

Notes

When charging is finished, disconnect the AC Adaptor from the wall outlet (wall socket).

Be sure to use only genuine Sony brand battery packs, micro USB cable (supplied) and

AC Adaptor (supplied).

 Charging time
The charging time is approximately 290 min. using the AC Adaptor (supplied).

Notes

The above charging time applies when charging a ful y depleted battery pack (supplied)

at a temperature of 25°C (77°F). Charging time may take longer depending on conditions

of use and circumstances.

 Using your camera abroad – Power source
You can use your camera and AC Adaptor in any countries/regions where the power supply

is within 100 V to 240 V AC, 50 Hz/60 Hz.

An electronic voltage transformer is unnecessary and its use may cause a malfunction.

Troubleshooting

The charge lamp on the camera flashes when charging the battery pack.

The charge lamp flashes in two ways, fast (about 0.3-second intervals) or slow (about

1.3-second intervals). If the charge lamp is flashing fast, remove the battery pack and

reattach the same battery pack securely, or disconnect and reconnect the USB cable. If

the charge lamp flashes fast again, it suggests that there is something wrong with the

battery pack, AC Adaptor (supplied), or USB cable. Slow flashing indicates that charging

is suspended because the ambient temperature is outside the suitable range for charging

the battery pack. Charging will resume and the charge lamp will be lit when the ambient

temperature returns to within the suitable temperature. The optimal temperature for

charging the battery pack is between 10 °C and 30 °C (50 °F and 86 °F).
