Your thermometer requires two
AAA batteries (not supplied) for
power. Batteries are available at
your local RadioShack store or
online at www.radioshack.com.

Press the tab on the
battery compartment
cover and lift it up.

Insert two AAA batteries into the
compartment as indicated by the
polarity symbols (+ and –) marked
inside. Then replace the cover.

You can mount the thermometer on any flat surface using its
built-in stand, or mount it on a wall using a screw (not supplied).

Choose a location indoors near a window so you can route the
thermometer’s outdoor sensor outside.

You can view the temperature in either
Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C) format. To
change the degree format, set C/F on the back
of the thermometer to the desired format.

To mount the thermometer on a wall, you need a
screw (not supplied) with a head that fits into the
keyhole slot on the back of the thermometer.

Mark the position of the screw hole, then drill a hole
slightly smaller than the screw in the marked
location. Using a screwdriver, drive the screw into
the wall, letting the head extend 1/8-inch from the
wall. Then align the keyhole slot on the back of the
thermometer with the screw head, then carefully
push the thermometer onto the screw head and
slide it down into place.
