Beforeusingyourmixerforthefirsttime,washthebeaters,doughhooks
andwhisk.Rinseanddry.
Besurespeedcontrolisinthe“OFF”positionandunpluggedfroman
electricaloutlet.Insertbeatersoneatatime,byplacingstemendofbeaters
intotheopeningdriveholesonthebottomofthemixer.Turnbeaterslightly
andpushinuntilbeaterclicksintoposition.
Notethatthebeatersareinterchangeablebutdoughhooksarenot.When
usingdoughhooks,thedoughhookwiththecollaronthestem(see drawing
on page 4) fitsintothelargedriveholeonthemixer.Ifdoughhooksdonot
clickintothedriveholes,reverseandtryagain.

samedirection.Becarefulnottooverbeatthemixture.Overbeatingtendsto

Wheneverscrapingofthebowlisrequired,stopthemixerandscrapesides
andbottomofbowlwitharubberspatulaasneeded.Turnspeedcontrolto
“OFF”andrestmixeronitsheelrestwhileaddingingredients.Besureto
positionbeatersovermixingbowlsoanydrippingswillfallbackintomixing
bowl.
Whenmixingiscomplete,setspeedcontrolto“1”andraisebeatersslowly
frombattertocleanoffclingingfood.Besuretoturnunitto“OFF”before
raisingbeaterscompletelyoutofmixingbowl.

1. You can select a speed by turning the position selector to the speed required,
fromSpeed1toSpeed7.
2. No matter where the position selector is situated, you can get a higher speed
immediatelybypressingthe“Burst”button.
