Thank you for purchasing this JVC product. 
Before you begin operating this unit, please read the operating instructions carefully to be sure you 
get the best possible performance. If you have any questions, consult your JVC dealer.

CAUTION

1. For your safety...

•  Not suitable for children under the age of 3 years due to small parts and 

entanglement hazard.

•  To be used under the direct supervision of an adult.
•  Do remove and discard all packing materials before giving this product to a child.
  Never use the headphones when driving a car, motorcycle, or bicycle. This could result 

in an accident. 

  Pay special attention to traffic around you when using the headphones outside. Failure 

to do so could result in an accident.

  Be careful not to turn the volume up too high though the sound volume limiter of the 

headphones controls the maximum sound volume. Your hearing may be damaged by 
listening to sounds at an excessive volume for long periods of time.

  Do not disassemble or modify the headphones.
  Do not allow inflammable, water or metallic objects to enter the headphones.
•  If you find skin problems where the headphones are in contact with your skin, stop using 

the headphones; otherwise, it may cause further inflammation or irritation of the skin.

  When the air is dry such as in winter, you may feel a static shock when using the headphones.
  If you get sick while using the headphones, stop using them right away.
  Be sure that your hair or any other objects do not get caught in the headband slider 

(adjuster) when adjusting the headband.

2. Avoid using the headphones…

  in places subject to excessive humidity or dust
  in places subject to extremely high (over 40°C) or low (under 0°C) temperatures

3. DO NOT leave the headphones…

  exposed to direct sunlight
  near a heater

4. To protect the headphones, DO NOT…

  allow them to get wet
  shake them or drop them onto hard objects
  lick or bite them

☐ Be careful not to apply power that exceeds the headphones’ input capacity. This may result 

in sound distortion and could damage the headphones.

☐ Grasp and pull the plug itself to disconnect the headphones. Do not pull out using the cord.
☐ When using the headphones near a cellular phone, noise may occur. Keep the headphones 

away from the cellular phone.

☐ You may not be able to use the headphones with sound systems of some airplanes, 

depending on the type of the systems.

☐ The ear pads will wear out earlier than the other parts, even in normal use or in normal 

storage due to the characteristics of the material used.

☐ When the ear pad get dirty, wipe off with a well-wrung cloth soaked in water. Do not rinse 

the ear pad in water.

Mit dem Kauf dieses JVC Produkts haben Sie eine gute Wahl getroffen. Um Ihren Kopfhörer 
optimal nutzen zu können, sollten Sie die vorliegende Anleitung vor Inbetriebnahme des Geräts 
sorgfältig durchlesen. Falls Fragen offen bleiben, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren JVC Händler.

VORSICHT

1. Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit...

•  Nicht für Kinder unter 3 Jahren geeignet, da Kleinteile vorhanden sind und die 

Gefahr des Verwickelns in Kabeln besteht.

•  Kinder dürfen die Kopfhörer nur unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen verwenden.
•  Alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernen und entsorgen, bevor Sie dieses Produkt 

einem Kind geben.

  Benutzen Sie den Kopfhörer niemals, wenn Sie Auto, Motorrad oder Fahrrad fahren. 

Dies könnte zu einem Unfall führen. 

  Achten Sie im Freien immer besonders auf den umgebenden Straßenverkehr. Wenn Sie 

das unterlassen, besteht die Gefahr von Unfällen.

  Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Lautstärke nicht zu laut einstellen, obwohl der 

Lautstärkenregler der Kopfhörer die maximale Lautstärke bestimmt. Es besteht die 
Gefahr von Gehörschäden beim Hören mit sehr großer Lautstärke über lange Zeit.

  Unterlassen Sie Zerlegen oder Modifizieren des Kopfhörers.
  Achten Sie darauf, dass keine brennbaren Stoffe, Wasser oder Metallgegenstände in 

den Kopfhörer eindringen.

  Falls Hautreizungen durch die Berührung der Kopfhörer mit der Haut auftreten, 

beenden Sie die Verwendung der Kopfhörer sofort; andernfalls können Entzündungen 
oder andere Hautprobleme verursacht werden.

  Bei trockener Luft, wie etwa im Winter, können Sie bei Verwendung der Kopfhörer 

Schläge durch statische Aufladung verspüren.

•  Wenn Sie bei der Verwendung der Kopfhörer krank werden, stoppen Sie die Verwendung sofort.
  Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich nicht Haar oder andere Gegenstände im Kopfbandschieber 

(Einsteller) beim Justieren des Kopfbands verfangen.

2. Vermeiden Sie die Benutzung des Kopfhörers...

  an Orten mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit oder starkem Staubniederschlag
  an Orten mit sehr hohen (über 40°C) oder sehr niedrigen Temperaturen (unter 0°C)

3. VERMEIDEN Sie die Einwirkung von...

  direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
  Wärmeeinstrahlung durch einen Heizkörper

4. Zum Schutz der Kopfhörer dürfen Sie diese NICHT...

  nass werden lassen
  stark schütteln oder gegen harte Gegenstände anstoßen
•  ablecken oder hineinbeißen

☐ Schließen Sie den Kopfhörer nicht an Geräte an, deren Ausgangsleistung die Eingangskapazität des 

Kopfhörers überschreitet. Dies könnte zu Klangverzerrungen und Schäden an den Kopfhörern führen.

☐ Ziehen Sie zum Abtrennen des Kopfhörers mit festem Griff am Stecker. Nicht am Kabel ziehen.
☐ Bei Verwendung des Kopfhörers in der Nähe eines Handys können Störungen auftreten. 

Sorgen Sie immer für Abstand zwischen Kopfhörer und Handy.

☐ Sie können die Kopfhörer möglicherweise nicht mit Audiosystemen in Flugzeugen 

verwenden. Dies hängt jedoch vom jeweiligen Audiosystem ab.

☐ Die Ohrpolster verschleißen schneller als andere Teile, auch bei normaler Verwendung 

oder Aufbewahrung. Das liegt an ihren Materialeigenschaften.

☐ Verschmutzte Ohrenpolster können Sie mit einem mit Wasser angefeuchteten, gut 

ausgewrungenen Tuch säubern. Spülen Sie die Ohrenpolster nicht mit Wasser ab.

PRÉCAUTIONS

1. Pour votre sécurité...

•  Ne convient pas pour des enfants âgés de moins de 3 ans à cause des dangers causés 

par les petites pièces et les risques d’étranglement.

•  À utiliser sous la surveillance d’un adulte.
•  Ne retirez pas ni ne jetez tous le matériel d’emballage avant de donner ce produit à un enfant.
  N’utilisez jamais le casque en conduisant une voiture, une moto ou une bicyclette. Cela 

pourrait provoquer un accident. 

  Faites particulièrement attention à ce qu’il se passe autour de vous quand vous utilisez 

le casque à l’extérieur. Sinon, cela pourrait entraîner un accident.

•  Le limiteur de volume intégré au casque empêche le volume sonore de dépasser un certain 

niveau. Essayez néanmoins d’utiliser le casque à un volume raisonnable. Votre ouïe peut être 
endommagée si vous écoutez des sons à un volume excessif pendant une période prolongée.

  Ne démontez pas et ne modifiez pas le casque.
  Veillez à ce qu’aucun produit inflammable, eau ni objet métallique ne pénètre à 

l’intérieur du casque.

•  Si vous avez des problèmes de peau quand le casque est en contact avec la peau, arrêtez 

d’utiliser le casque; sinon, il pourrait causer un inflammation ou une irritation de la peau.

  Quand l’air est sec comme en hiver, vous pouvez ressentir un choc statique lors de 

l’utilisation du casque.

•  Si vous vous sentez mal pendant l’utilisation du casque, arrêtez de l’utiliser immédiatement.
  Assurez-vous que vos cheveux ou aucun autre objet n’est pris dans la glissière 

(dispositif d’ajustement) quand vous ajustez le serre-tête.

2. Évitez d’utiliser le casque...

  dans des endroits trop humides ou poussiéreux
  dans des endroits soumis à des températures extrêmement élevées (plus de 40°C) ou 

faibles (en-dessous de 0°)

3. NE laissez PAS le casque...

  en plein soleil
  près d’un chauffage

4. Pour protéger le casque, NE PAS...

  l’exposer à l’humidité
  le secouer ou le laisser tomber sur des objets durs
•  et évitez de le porter à la bouche.

☐ Veillez à ne pas alimenter le casque avec un courant dépassant la capacité d’entrée du 

casque. Cela pourrait entraîner une déformation du son et endommager le casque.

☐ Lorsque vous débranchez le casque, saisissez la fiche du casque. Ne tirez pas directement sur le cordon.
☐ Lors de l’utilisation du casque près d’un téléphone portable, du bruit peut se produire. 

Gardez le casque à l’écart des téléphones portables.

☐ Il se peut que vous ne puissiez pas utiliser votre casque stéréo à bord de certains avions, 

selon le système de son utilisé.

☐ Les coussinets d’oreille s’usent plus rapidement que les autres parties du casque même lors 

d’une utilisation normale à cause des caractéristiques du matériau utilisé.

☐ Lorsque les coussinets d’oreille sont sales, essuyez-les avec un chiffon humide bien essoré. 

Ne plongez pas les coussinets d’oreille dans l’eau pour les rincer.

ATTENZIONE

1. Per la vostra sicurezza...

•  Non adatte ai bambini sotto i 3 anni a causa della presenza di piccole parti e al

•  Prima di dare questo prodotto a un bambino si raccomanda di rimuovere ed 

eliminare tutti i materiali di confezionamento.

  Non usare mai la cuffia durante la guida di un’automobile, motocicletta o bicicletta. 

Ciò potrebbe essere causa di un incidente. 

  Quando si usano le cuffie all’esterno è necessario prestare particolare attenzione al 

traffico circostante. La mancata osservanza di questa precauzione potrebbe infatti 
divenire causa d’incidenti.

•  Sebbene il limitatore di volume delle cuffie controlli il volume massimo, il volume non 

dovrebbe essere mantenuto a livelli eccessivamente alti. L’ascolto prolungato del suono a 
volume eccessivamente alto potrebbe infatti danneggiare l’apparato auditivo.

  Non smontare o modificare la cuffia.
•  Non permettere che sostanze infiammabili, acqua o oggetti metallici entrino nella cuffia.
  All’eventuale apparire di segni sulla pelle nei punti di contatto con le cuffie si 

raccomanda di cessarne l’uso; l’uso continuato potrebbe infatti causare l’irritazione o 
l’infiammazione della pelle stessa.

  Nelle stagioni secche, ad esempio in inverno, quando si usano le cuffie si potrebbero 

avvertire scariche dovute all’elettricità statica.

•  In caso di malore durante l’uso delle cuffie si raccomanda di sospenderne immediatamente l’uso.
  Non lasciare che i capelli o altri corpi rimangano intrappolati nel regolatore 

dell’archetto mentre lo si regola.

2. Evitare l’uso della cuffia...

  in luoghi soggetti ad eccessiva umidità o polvere
  in luoghi soggetti a temperature estremamente elevate (oltre 40°C) o basse (sotto 0°C)

3. NON lasciare la cuffia...

  sotto i raggi solari diretti
  vicino a fonti di calore

4. Per proteggere le cuffie...

  NON le si deve lasciar bagnare
  NON le si deve scuotere, lasciar cadere o battere contro corpi duri
•  NON le si deve leccare o mordere

☐ Fare attenzione a non aumentare la potenza in modo da superare la capacità d’ingresso 

della cuffia. Ciò può causare un suono distorto e danneggiare le cuffie.

☐ Per scollegare la cuffia, afferrare e tirare fermamente la spina. Non scollegarla tirando il cavo.
☐ Se si usa la cuffia vicino ad un telefono cellulare, si può avere del rumore. Tenere le cuffie 

lontane dai telefoni cellulari.

☐ Le cuffie potrebbero non funzionare con i sistemi sonori di alcuni aerei, a seconda del tipo di sistema.
☐ A causa del materiale di cui sono costituiti, i cuscinetti si consumano più rapidamente 

delle altre parti anche se usati e conservati in modo corretto.

☐  Se i cuscinetti si sporcano, pulirli con un panno inumidito con acqua e ben strizzato. Non 

risciacquare i cuscinetti con acqua.

“SOME DOS AND DON’TS ON THE SAFE USE OF EQUIPMENT”

This equipment has been designed and manufactured to meet international safety standards 
but, like any electrical equipment, care must be taken if you are to obtain the best results and 
safety is to be assured. 

Do read the operating instructions before you attempt to use the equipment.
Do ensure that all electrical connections (including the mains plug, extension leads and 
interconnections between pieces of equipment) are properly made and in accordance with the 
manufacturer’s instructions. Switch off and withdraw the mains plug when making or changing 
connections.
Do consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about the installation or operation or safety of 
your equipment. 
Do be careful with glass panels or doors on equipment.

DON’T continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about it working normally, or 
if it is damaged in any way-switch off-withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.
DON’T remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerous voltages.
DON’T leave equipment switched on when it is unattended unless it is specifically stated that it 
is designed for unattended operation or has a standby mode.
Switch off using the switch on the equipment and make sure that your family know how to do 
this.
Special arrangements may need to be made for infirm or handicapped people.
DON’T use equipment such as personal stereos or radios so that you are distracted from the 
requirements of road safety. It is illegal to watch television when driving.
DON’T listen to headphones at high volume as such use can permanently damage your 
hearing.
DON’T obstruct the ventilation of the equipment, for example with curtains or on soft 
furnishings.
Overheating will cause damage and shorten the life the equipment.
DON’T use makeshift stands and NEVER fix legs with wood screws. To ensure complete 
safety always fit the manufacturer’s approved stand or legs with the fixing screws supplied 
according to the instructions.
DON’T allow electrical equipment to be exposed to rain or moisture.

ABOVE ALL

NEVER let anyone especially children push anything into holes, slots or any other opening in the 

case. This could result in a fatal electrical shock.

NEVER guess or take chances with electrical equipment of any kind. It is better to be safe 

than sorry!
