6 Viewing Information About the BM325

6.1 Viewing the Device Information 

The device information includes the device type, software version number, hardware 
version number, and device status. 

The BM325 has three types of working status, including not connected to the network, 
connecting to the network, and connected to the network. The three types of working 
status are described as follows: 

Not connected to the network: The device is about to set up a network connection. 

Connecting to the network: The device is setting up a network connection. 

Connected to the network: The device has set up a network connection. 

Start the BWA Partner and click Device to view the device information. 

6.2 Viewing the Network Information 

The network information includes the connecting status of the BM325, uplink and 
downlink rates, and link quality. 

Start the BWA Partner and click Network to view the network information. 

6.3 Viewing the IP Information 

The IP information includes the IP address, default gateway, subnet mask, Dynamic Host 
Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server address, and Domain Name Server (DNS) 
address. 

Start the BWA Partner and click Network

Click IP Information to view the IP information. 

Releasing the IP Address 

Start the BWA Partner and click Network

Click IP Release to release the IP address, and then click IP Information to check 
whether the IP address is released. 

Obtaining the IP Address 

Start the BWA Partner and click Network

Click IP Acquire to obtain the IP address, and then click IP Information to view the 
obtained IP address.
