Step 2.  Operating the Safety

A. To Put the Paintball Marker “ON SAFE:”

• Locate the SAFETY above the TRIGGER.
• Push the SAFETY from the left side all the way in. (Fig. 2) The SAFETY is not on

unless it is pushed all the way in and the red circle around the SAFETY is not
showing. The paintball marker will not fire when “On Safe”.
Even when the SAFETY is “On Safe”, you should continue to handle the paintball mark-
er safely. Do not ever point the paintball marker at anything you do not intend to shoot.

• Place the BARREL GLOVE over the barrel (Fig. 3)

B. To Take the Paintball Marker “OFF SAFE”:

• Remove the BARREL GLOVE.
• Push the SAFETY from the right side all the way in. (Fig. 2)
• The paintball marker is ready to fire when “Off Safe”.  When you can see the red

circle around the SAFETY, the paintball marker is “Off Safe” and can be fired.

Step 3.  Installing and Removing the CO2 Source

A. Installing the CO2 Source

• Make sure the BARREL GLOVE is placed over the barrel (See Fig. 3)
• Put the paintball marker “On Safe” (See Step 2A).
• Screw the CO2 source into the GAS ADAPTER.
• Tighten the CO2 source onto the GAS ADAPTER until you feel a

solid stop.

• If the CO2 source you are using has an on/off valve, turn the valve

to the “On Position”. The paintball marker is now fully charged.
NOTE: Do not store your paintball marker with the CO2 source
attached.

B. Removing the CO2 Source

NOTE: Always remove the CO2 source before disassembling your
paintball marker.

• Unload the paintball marker (See Step 5B).
• Put the paintball marker “On Safe” (See Step 2A).
• If the CO2 source you are using has an on/off valve, turn it to the “Off Position”.  Otherwise, with the paintball marker

pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION, slowly unscrew the CO2 source. NOTE: You will experience a slight discharge of CO2 gas
upon removal of the CO2 source: this is normal.

Step 4. Cocking the Paintball Marker

• Put the paintball marker “On Safe” (See Step 2A).
• Point the paintball marker in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• Pull the COCKING KNOB all the way back until you hear a click and the HAMMER is locked into position.

Step 5. Loading and Unloading Paintballs

A. Loading Paintballs

• Make sure the BARREL GLOVE is placed over the BARREL (See Fig. 3
• Put the paintball marker “On Safe.” (See Step 2A)
• Point the paintball marker in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• Attach a PAINTBALL HOPPER onto the POWER FEED PORT.
• Fill the PAINTBALL HOPPER with paintballs.
• Rotate the BALL LOCK to allow paintballs to feed into the RECEIVER.

B. Unloading the Paintballs

• Put the paintball marker “On Safe”. (See Step 2A)
• Empty or remove the PAINTBALL HOPPER.
• Unscrew the BARREL and remove any paintballs from the BARREL, RECEIVER

and POWER FEED PORT CONNECTION.

Step 6.  Velocity Adjustment

• To increase velocity, loosen the VELOCITY LOCKING SETSCREW 1/2 turn with

a hex wrench, and turn the VELOCITY KNOB clockwise. (Fig. 4)

• To decrease velocity, turn the VELOCITY KNOB counterclockwise.
• When desired velocity is obtained, tighten the VELOCITY LOCKING SETSCREW.

NOTE: Velocity may vary depending upon altitude and climate conditions.
BEFORE using your paintball marker you must always perform a “SAFE VELOC-
ITY TEST” by using a chronograph to verify that the velocity is below 300 fps.

Step 7.  Regulator Adjustment (does not apply to all models)

• To increase pressure into your marker, turn the REGULATOR ADJUSTMENT

SCREW counterclockwise using a hex wrench.(Fig. 5)

• To decrease pressure into your marker, turn the REGULATOR ADJUSTMENT

SCREW clockwise and fire the marker twice (See Step 8).

• When desired pressure is obtained, tighten the REGULATOR LOCKING

SETSCREW.

Step 8.  Aiming and Firing Safely

• Eye protection designed specifically for paintball must be worn by the user and

any person within range.

• Always aim your paintball marker in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• When you are sure of your target, and the area around the target is clear, remove the BARREL GLOVE, cock the marker

(See Step 4), take the paintball marker “Off Safe” (See Step 2B) and squeeze the TRIGGER to fire.

• Do not shoot at fragile objects such as windows.
• Paintballs may cause staining of some porous surfaces such as brick, stucco and wood.

Step 9.  Maintaining Your Paintball Marker
A. Disassembling and Cleaning Your Paintball Marker

• Always remove the CO2 source before disassembling

your paintball marker (See Step 3B).

• With the paintball marker “On Safe” (See Step 2A), and

the CO2 source removed (See Step 3B), unscrew the
LUG. (Fig. 6

• Pull the BOLT out and the STRIKER, BUMPER, SPRING

and PIN will easily come out of the marker.

• Rinse the parts you just removed with warm tap

water.  After you have cleaned those parts make sure
they are dried thoroughly.

• After drying, IMMEDIATELY oil the parts with paintball

marker oil as indicated in Fig. 6. DO NOT use a petroleum distillate based oil or solvent as they can cause damage to
your paintball marker.
NOTE: Failure to properly oil the parts where indicated in Fig. 6 can result in rust.

B. Assembling Your Paintball Marker

• Assemble the BOLT and STRIKER together and push them back into the RECEIVER as shown in Fig. 6. IMPORTANT:  You

must be pulling the trigger at the same time in order for the parts to fit completely back into the RECEIVER.

• Put the BUMPER, SPRING AND PIN together and insert them all the way into the RECEIVER.
• Screw the LUG into the RECEIVER until hand tight.
• Avoid dry firing if the paintball marker is not properly lubricated because it may cause damage to your marker.
• If an air leak should occur in the area of the valve, DO NOT attempt to repair it yourself. Tampering with the paintball

marker or attempts to change the paintball marker in any way may make it unsafe to use and will void the warranty.

• If you drop your paintball marker, check to see that it works properly before you use it again.  If anything seems changed,

like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this may mean worn out or broken parts. Call Customer Service for assistance before
using your paintball marker again.

Step 10.  Reviewing Safety

• Always treat the paintball marker as though it were loaded.
• Always aim in a SAFE DIRECTION.  Always keep the MUZZLE of the paintball marker pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• Always keep the paintball marker “On Safe” until you are ready to shoot in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• Always check to see if the paintball marker is “On Safe” and unloaded when getting it from another person or from

storage.

• Always keep your finger off the TRIGGER and out of the TRIGGER GUARD until ready to shoot.
• Eye protection designed specifically for paintball must be worn by the user and any person within range.
• Never look down the BARREL or BREACH of a paintball marker.
• Never shoot at a person who is not wearing eye protection designed specifically for paintball.
• Never disassemble the paintball marker before removing the CO2 source (See Step 3B) and making sure your marker is

in the “On Safe” position (See Step 2A)

• Keep hands away from escaping CO2 gas.  It can cause frostbite if allowed to come in contact with skin.

• Always follow the manufacturer’s warnings listed on the CO2 source for handling and storage.

• Use .68 caliber paintballs only.  Never reuse ammunition.
• Always measure your marker’s velocity before playing paintball.
• Never shoot at velocities in excess of 300 feet per second.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or tamper with your paintball marker other than what is instructed in this manual for

removing paintballs, cleaning or oiling.  Use an Authorized Service Station or return it to the factory for repair.

• Always store your paintball marker unloaded and de-gassed in a secure location. Make sure ALL of the paintballs are

unloaded from the paintball marker (See Step 3B and 5B).

• Always keep the barrel blocking device (BARREL GLOVE) in/on the marker's MUZZLE when not actually shooting.
