LATCH REMOVAL & STORAGE

SHOULDER BELT LOCKOFF

Removing LATCH:

.Pul  LATCH Connectors.out.of.

storage.pockets.while.lifting.up.on.
LATCH.Release.Lever.

Storing LATCH:

.Insert LATCH Connectors.into.

storage.pockets.

.Pul  LATCH Pul  Strap.to.

secure.LATCH.Connectors.

.Rol  LATCH Pul  Strap.and.

store.in.Pul .Strap.Storage.Pocket.

.Do not put the shoulder belt.

in.the.locked.mode.

.With vehicle belt tight,.position.

the.shoulder.belt.under.the.
Shoulder.Belt.Lockof .that.is.on.the.
opposite.side.of.the.buckle.

.Firmly slide shoulder belt.

into.the.lockof . .(Optional:. Once.
the.base.is.instal ed.tightly,.the.
shoulder.belt.can.be.put.in.the.
locked.mode. .See.vehicle.owner’s.

This Child Restraint can be safely instal ed using vehicle

belts or LATCH.  LATCH is a Child Restraint at achment

system that is standard in most vehicles manufactured

after September 1, 2002.  Refer to your vehicle owner’s

manual for details regarding LATCH use in your vehicle.

 When not using LATCH, the LATCH Connectors and Pull 

Strap MUST be stored properly to al ow Carrier to attach 

securely to Base.

The Shoulder Belt Lockof  is used when instal ing the Base using 

your vehicle belts.  It locks the vehicle shoulder belt in place, 

ensuring a stable, secure Base instal ation.
